A Series of Unfortunate Events

I stopped him just before he started to log roll her...I guess I should pay better attention

FHE on the Stairs

Sometimes Jackson makes bad choices and needs to be put on the stairs for timeout. On this day he wanted to have FHE on the stairs not sure if he thought Autumn needed to be in timeout or if he was feeling guilty

The scab on her face fell off...no scar.

My evil little master mind. I do wonder what he is planning for his next attack.

See I told you he was an evil master mind

Legos

As a family activity, Jackson wanted to play with the legos. Since we are in the adjustment phase with Autumn I brought her over to join the family game. Jackson decided she needed to play in the box...After placing her in the box this is what happened. I am glad I have a camera that can take rapid fire pictures.

As a side note, as Autumns 10 days of life flashed before her eyes with daddy taking pictures...Edon was at the ready to save her life.

Autumn Mackenzie Davenport

Introducing Autumn Mackenzie Davenport born on Nov. 3. 2010 at 1:51 pm. She weighted 8 lbs 12 oz and 21 inches long. Both Mother and Child are doing well and taking well deserved naps. You can click on any picture for a larger image and better resolution.

Fresh into the world...The birth canal was rough. Her initial APGAR was 5, and required some rescue breaths, but by 2 minutes she came around. Repeat APGAR was 9. At about 5 minutes they brought Autumn over to Edon to see.

Crying...giving those lungs a work out. To Autumn's left you can see the bag mask used on her. Once she cried her color can and heart rate bounced up.Resting after a rough day and first few minutes of life.

First time nursing. She latched on well and was alert during the feed.
Footprint time...
I love this profile picture. What at doll. I cant believe how beautiful she looks at only an hour of life.
A very proud grandmother who took care of Jackson and missed all the action. Thank you Julie.

Jackson did not know what to think. He was afraid of Autumn at first then only would quickly look at her. I hope he adjusts well.
Jackson showing Autumn who's the boss and to step off. I think we will see this face often over the next couple of weeks.
And yes I finally updated the blog.
