Color Changing Perro

Edon, didnt think anyone would understand the color changing dog since most of you have never met Azteca, so here is the evolution of her colors. When the computer died in Mexico we lost her puppy pictures, when she was almost black. I guess when you invite an illegal immigrant dog into your home you will never know what will get.

Over the past couple months she has started to grow a black left eye, Perro Loco.

The Red Line Crash

Today as Edon left work, 2 blocks away a semi went out of control exiting the freeway and slammed into the subway station killing 2 and wounding 19 others. The crazy thing is that we use that subway station all the time, but today Edon had the car and was driving. However, if she was planning on taking the train she would have been on the scene. Crazy.
Other Chicago news, this week 40 people were shot or stabbed on the South Side where both Edon and I work. Half have died and most were young. Kids are skipping school and the police have started to escort kids to school so they arrive safely.
I came across some blogs of my friends from Spokane and realized how lame my blog is. They have pictures of their kids, and them growing up, and I have stupid clips of Obama and milk commercials. But I must admit, blogging with kids has to be easier, and unlike Danielle I dont like my dog as much as she likes her cats. In fact I am half of the reason why Azteca is so ugly. I am so cheap I dont take her to get her hair cut, I do it. And yes is looks as good as it sounds, so not only does the color changing dog have a bad fur color she also has a hair cut to match.
So sorry I have lame blogs, but male blogging is sorta gay anyway. Happy blogging.

You Be The Judge....

I saw this and thought is was pretty funny. My current attending has a man crush on Obama, and I am so sick of him drinking from the Kool-aid. I hear him tell the Clinton Bosnia story at least 10 times a day. So I thought this is pretty.

The crowd understood, just watch the ladies in the background and the cheers, plus his smirk. Operation Chaos is working!

And the Winner is.......

I would like to thank all the little people. Well the results are in I have won our poll, 2nd place is still up for grabs. If KU wins Edon takes 2nd if Memphis wins Denton takes it. Funny story I called Grandma the other day just to say hello, but she wasn't there so I left a message telling her I just called. When she saw I called and she figured we were announcing that we were pregnant. She was really excited, until I told her that I called just to say hello and nothing else. Then she told me how great it was that David was going to have a little boy, I don't now how I was deemed as bearer of the truth to Grandma. It was funny. Nothing new happened this week except I got to stick my finger in a guys neck, not that finger Dave. We were doing a tracheotomy. Until next week.

Breakdown of the brackets

Okay it all boils down to this...
If North Carolina wins, Krystee wins
If Memphis wins, Derek wins
If UCLA wins, Brent wins
If Kansas wins, it depends who they beat in the finals...
If it is a Kansas/UCLA finals Edon wins
If it is a Kansas/Memphis finals Derek wins

The only sure thing this year is Dad wont repeat as the winner.

Easter in Nauvoo

Well this is a week late, but who really cares. We had a great time in Nauvoo, meeting the Broughs on their trek across the US on a bike. When we got there on Friday it was nice and warm, we went to Carthage Jail, my favorite site. On Sat. we went to the temple a did sealings. Brent was able to have his mom sealed to her parents. He also showed me a set of keys that are in the temple, and told the story of Edon's ancestors were the keeper of the keys when the temple was burned down, they keep the keys and passed them down until the temple was rededicated when family returned the keys to the temple. That is pretty cool. After the temple we took the wagon ride and saw the sites. We toured the assembly hall where these pictures came from. The floor Edon is on is an original to the assembly hall where the Prophet drew a map to Utah and the Saints danced. I am on the stage where the production the missionaries put on. Well I know this is short but I need to get going.
